Hotel is a perfect place for a weekend in Portland. It was very clean, everyone was knowledgeable! There are rooms for business travelers. Bar staff was very accessible.
-
We definitely coming here again, as the hotel met the purpose. VERY GOOD food in the restaurants such as The Melting Pot, located 5 min away.
-
Bed was super, we loved it. Everything was nice overall...

The hilton is very centrally located to everything in downtown Portland.
I felt that Erik at registration was not very friendly. Our check-in was at 3:00pm and he said our room would not be ready until 3:30 or 4:00. He did not seem to be apologetic or even very friendly about the situation.

Location, amenities, quietness. Traveling as a couple without children, this is the place to stay.
Prepaid for room; they overbooked but comped our two-day stay and a dinner. They went out of their way to make our full day as comfortable as possible. Look forward to the next visit and will definitely recommend the executive tower for the extra space and upgrades.

the location is excellent
the restaurant facilities were poor, the valet parking price was high and they charge for wireless internet
-
use of the pool and the fact that breakfast was included. Also nice clean room

Perfect Location
There is lack of an easy access to closed caption button on TV remote control. I became impatience scrambling to turn the closed caption on every time I turn the TV on. I had to leave the TV on 24 hours. I did not have to worry about setting up the closed caption program on.

We thought the staff was the best part of the hotel experience. Everyone we came in contact with was very positive & helpful.
Paying for parking.
-
downtown availability, wonderful gym with sauna and steam room, excellent bed, grande television, helpful staff, safe environment
-
Very helpful staff, great location downtown

Rooms were clean.
The beds were only a double bed which makes it hard when traveling with family, they were too small. The parking was very bad and had my Thule on which made it very difficult as the hotel did not have parking to accomidate me and gave me wrong information which resulted in my Thule getting scratched and having to take it off if the middle of the parking garage which was a hastle. Hotel did comp parking but it was a headache dealing with that in the city.

I really appreciated the helpful staff. Everytime I had a question regarding Portland they did a great job of helping me. They made my wife and I feel special.
Nothing really.

We enjoyed our stay but didn't stay long enough to apreciate the hotel nor Portland. A good excuse to come back. Great location, friendly and helpful staff and thought the price of parking reasonable. I do feel however, and this aplies to all big hotel chains in cities, why do they need to charge for internet. Every where else it's free????
